DISTANCE CONTRACT
In accordance with Section 10 of the Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības likums (Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia), when the Buyer places an order by phone, via the internet, or by e-mail, a Distance Contract is concluded between the Buyer and the Seller.
This contract is concluded between the owner of the online store www.maisondor.lv — SIA “SOFIA LUX” (hereinafter – the Seller), registration No. 40203265145, and the Buyer who places an order and makes a purchase on the website www.maisondor.lv. By placing an order on www.maisondor.lv, you confirm that you have read the Distance Contract and agree to its terms.
Under this contract, the Seller undertakes to deliver to the Buyer the goods ordered on the online store www.maisondor.lv, and the Buyer undertakes to accept and pay for the ordered goods according to the selected payment and delivery method.
The Buyer orders goods by completing the relevant order form on the Seller’s website www.maisondor.lv. When placing an order, the Buyer undertakes to provide accurate information, namely: first name, last name, delivery address, and contact details, and to press the “Order” button. The Buyer undertakes to inform the Seller of any changes no later than within 24 hours after receiving the order confirmation by sending an e-mail to: maisondorbaltic@gmail.com.
The Buyer is responsible for providing accurate information; otherwise, delivery of the goods is not guaranteed. Placing an order shall be considered the Buyer’s offer to conclude this Distance Contract for the delivery of the ordered goods and the Buyer’s consent to purchase the goods at the indicated price. Prices on www.maisondor.lv are indicated including value added tax (VAT).
Payment for the ordered goods and selected delivery method can be made as follows:
4.1. Cash payment – payment is made at the time of receiving the goods at the office at Latgales iela 322, Riga, with the issuance of the relevant purchase document.
4.2. Payment by bank card – in the event of successful authorization, the customer receives a delivery note-invoice serving as confirmation of payment.
4.3. Payment by bank transfer – after order confirmation, an invoice is sent to the e-mail address specified in the order.
The Buyer shall pay the delivery costs and the price of the goods together before the goods are dispatched by the Seller. Delivery service costs are not included in the indicated price of the goods and are displayed during checkout. When placing an order, the following delivery options are available:
5.1. Free of charge – collection at the office at Latgales iela 322, Riga (by prior arrangement).
5.2. Orders over EUR 50 within Latvia – free delivery via DPD Latvia and Omniva parcel lockers.
5.3. Orders up to EUR 50 within Latvia – delivery fee of EUR 3 via DPD Latvia and Omniva parcel lockers.
5.4. Free delivery for orders over EUR 150 to Lithuania and Estonia. For orders up to EUR 150 – delivery fee of EUR 8 via DPD Latvia and Omniva parcel lockers.
5.5. Delivery by Omniva courier: within Latvia – EUR 10; within Lithuania and Estonia – EUR 14.
5.6. Delivery costs for orders to other countries are determined according to courier service tariffs.
Orders can be placed 24 hours a day. The Seller sends the Buyer an order confirmation by e-mail. If the Buyer does not receive a confirmation e-mail, the order is considered not accepted. Order processing begins once the payment has been received in the Seller’s bank account, unless another payment method has been agreed.
The average delivery time within the city of Riga is 1 to 2 working days from the moment of order confirmation, if the item is in stock. Within Latvia – 1 to 5 working days after receipt of payment in the Seller’s bank account.
The Buyer has the right to exercise the right of withdrawal provided by the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia and return the goods within 14 (fourteen) calendar days to the address Latgales iela 322, Riga. To avoid disputes, upon receiving the goods the Buyer must verify that they correspond to the order (color, size, quality, product name, and other essential parameters). In case of incorrect order fulfillment, the Buyer has the right to exchange the goods within 14 (fourteen) days by completing the return form.
If the Buyer wishes to exercise the right of withdrawal, the following conditions apply:
9.1. The returned goods must be new and unused. The goods must be returned in the same condition in which they were received from the Seller (in the original, undamaged packaging).
9.2. The purchased goods may only be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, considering the characteristics and intended purpose of the goods. If the condition of the returned goods has deteriorated due to improper storage or use, the Buyer loses the right of withdrawal.
9.3. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must contact the Seller by e-mail at maisondorbaltic@gmail.com, complete the return form, and submit it together with the purchase receipt to the Seller at Latgales iela 322, Riga. If returning via parcel locker, the goods must be sent to the parcel locker Akropole Riga (Latgales iela 257, Riga, LV-1019). The Buyer bears the cost of returning the goods.

The Seller shall transfer the refund for the returned goods to the bank account indicated by the Buyer in the withdrawal form within 14 (fourteen) calendar days after termination of the Contract.
This Contract is drawn up in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia. The Buyer confirms that they have read the terms of this Contract and undertake to comply with them.
The Buyer is informed that the Seller has the right to unilaterally amend the terms of this Contract at any time.
